6.5 How to Regulate Your Emotional State Regulating your emotional state is about learning to look after yourself in those moments when you feel out of control. When you do this, you can then and then increase your tolerance around your emotional state, which will enable you to increase your emotional resilience and become more effective with your challenges.

Answering the Call to do more with your life is going to take you beyond your comfort zone and into a zone of uncertainty, which is not a pleasant place to operate within, so it is important to increase your emotional resilience when you are following this path.

In this episode, I introduce the work of Amy Morrison, a counselor, coach and personal trainer whose life work is to help people regulate their emotional state. She has contributed to my work with some guidance and practical exercises to work with the autonomic nervous system.
