My trusty little Macintosh SE/30, built in Jan. 1989, has recently been resurrected as a simple HTTP webserve, hosting a 1-page website and "guestbook." After sharing the URL (www.rhyal.com) on Reddit, the Mac started receiving a steadily-increasing flood of visitors from all over the world, totaling a little over 12,300 at the time of publishing this video. Amusingly, one of the "visitors" was from China - they spent quite a bit of time methodically "scraping" my Mac, looking for hundreds of common files typically associated with modern websites (presumably to then analyze those files for flaws which could be used to take over the site)... but of course, they totally failed to realized that this Mac is so old and my website is so primitive, all their modern hacking tools were utterly unable to make any headway at all. Hooray for "security through obscurity!"
