Greeting soul family, my name is Vishuddha Das and I assist people with self-improvement and spiritual growth. If you enjoyed this content, please make sure to subscribe and turn on notifications below because today we're going to be talking about morning routines. I've done a few videos on them already.
It's important to have one one of the most important things for our own and self improvement and growth. No matter what facet of Life. Am I being we have to have a way of waking up that helps us approach the day progressively and productively rather than to wake up full of anxiety and Dread and anger.
So what can we do each morning? There's there's a lot of different ways and I suggest you check out the other videos, but if there was one thing one major facet of waking up in the morning that I want everyone to do it would be this and it's very simple. It's a very quick video. It's something I really want you to do every morning you wake up and before.
Get out of bed, before you go out into the world, before you start making your breakfast, or taking your vitamins. Wake up. Sit in bed. Close your eyes sit there for just a second, and then think of three things that you're grateful for.
Don't Force It don't try to control it instantly or worry about what things you are grateful, for just wake up, sit with the breath for a moment and then let it come to mind. What am I grateful for today? I'm grateful for maybe my mother or maybe I'm grateful for the job I have or maybe I'm grateful for the health.
Maybe I'm grateful for the roof over my head. There's a lot of different little simple things that we have in life that often we take for granted. And it really really helped put into perspective how good we have even if we are aware of it yet when we realize and feel gratefulness for these things.
So let them come to mind when you're sitting there. It can be the same things everyday if it has to be but we just sit there and allow those three things will grateful for to come into our mind and then we hold it there for just a minute and let that ruminate. We let that process. We just feel that gratefulness and when we.
And after about 5 10 minutes. We get out of bed and start the rest of our day, start the rest of our routine start getting ready for work start meditating start doing yoga start ,studying, whatever it might be but by doing this we start off everything else we do before we get out of bed with an aura of gratefulness and thanks to everything.
We don't wake up full of anxiety or anger depression. We stop that in its tracks So that's what I want you to do no matter what part of your morning routine or what your morning routine really is can be anything, just make sure to wake up and list three things you're grateful for.
