Because I have used this method for long periods of time I have found some of the best exercise methods that work. Some methods of exercise work very well with omad while others don't. In this video I explain which exercises you should and should not do.
One meal a day and exercise results are truly amazing because when fasting and exercising at the same time you get much better results. You will get a great growth hormone boost along with a good boost in fat burning if you exercise fasted. When doing one meal a day and exercise it is best to stay away from long term cardio and focus only on cardio like hiit. Forms of exercising that work best when doing omad are things like weight lifting, yoga, and lighter cardio like walking or boxing.
Best time to exercise when intermittent fasting is ideally before breaking your fast but its not the only way. you can exercise after breaking your fast as well, just be aware it is difficult to exercise and fast for a long period of time after that. I personally find that I hardly make my workout before eating so I typically do my workout post meal. There is not a right or wrong answer, its all up to you and what is sustainable for your schedule.
