Retailer fined for displaying three non-certified PMDs A retailer has been fined over $700 for displaying personal mobility devices (PMDs) that did not have safety certification. Three non-certified PMDs were found to be on display at Ning Pte Ltd at 160 Paya Lebar Road. This is the first such case prosecuted under the Active Mobility Act. Only devices that conform to the UL2272 standard, which minimises fire-risks, can be sold or displayed.
