Hey friends! Today we're talking SUGAR & sugar side effects and 5 huge consequences of consuming sugar.

These side effects of sugar come in no particular order!

1. Sugar ages you FASTER!

Studies have been done that show sugar dehydrates your skin, it promotes wrinkles & dark circles under the eyes etc. In studies of people who have HIGHER degrees of blood sugar vs those who don't...people can tell just by appearance!

2. Increases your risk of type II diabetes!

This is no secret. The consumption of sugar and sugary beverages, over time, increases your risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Remember, according to the CDC...there are over 100 million Americans with either full blown diabetes OR they are pre-diabetic.

Pre-diabetic means, if it doesn't get FIXED or addressed...within 5 years that "pre-diabetes" becomes full blown diabetes! Not good!

3. Sugar's side effects drive cancer!

It's the side of effects of sugar that drives the cancer. The insulin resistance. The visceral belly fat. The diabetes. These are the "risk factors" for increasing cancer rates.

4. Sugar spikes inflammation!

Inflammation is an underlying root cause to A LOT of health challenges. I'll make more videos on inflammation and the long-term harmful effects, but inflammation can destroy a person's health. Everything from weight loss resistance, to aches and pains, brain fog etc.

Remember, the Standard American Diet (SAD) is very pro-inflammatory. It's fairly toxic and loaded with processed (manufactured) foods.

5. Sugar makes you fat!

The research is clear. Sugar and carbs get stored as FAT if you're aren't burning it off via strenuous exercise / activity. It's stored abnormally in the tummy, hips, thighs, triceps, and face!
