In world news and current events today, young trumpet prodigy and Venezuelan refugee Nicole Meza Ramos got the gift of a lifetime. Due to the Venezuela crisis, Ramos and her family had to flee Venezuela for the Dominican Republic. Ramos was forced to leave her trumpet behind. Dale Crow of Crow Custom Brass would not stand for this injustice because of a refugee crisis and decided to fly to the DR to give Ramos a brand new custom trumpet. This video from NowThis News shows Ramos playing a trumpet song and trumpet music on her trumpet solo. Ramos hopes to go to the U.S. but it has been difficult for people from Venezuela to get a visa to the U.S.
