Assam NRC was to Protect the Assamese People, Even They are Out of It

More than 19 lakh people have been left out of the final NRC in Assam. An exercise intended to identify the original Indians and illegal foreigners living in the state. But the irony is that even indigenous Assamese people are out of the NRC.
