Saturdays are the best and I can easily spell that out in B R E A K F A S T. So today, I'm showing you guys how we start our weekends off with a delicious meal and yummy orange juice to pair it with. I know as parents we often think, juice has so much sugar. And you are right, it does. But we got the opportunity to try out this new company called Tropical Passage which packs just as good of flavor but with half the calories and sugar! That's right, you can give them a cup of OJ without adding the splash of water ( you know you do it).
And don't think that I forgot about you Mama. I know we all have to be mindful of our sugar intake because it turns straight into fat but I believe we need to consume GOOD tasting food too! Life is too short to eat or drink bland flavors.
With that being said, I added my go-to Anti Inflammatory Smoothie recipe which aides in the relief of uncomfortable bloating.
Anti-Inflammatory Vitamin C Smoothie:
1 Cup mixed Tropical Blend Frozen Fruit (Papaya, mango, Pineapple)
1 frozen Banana
1/2 Cup Tropical Passage Juice (low sugar, low calories)
1-2 Cups Kale (can substitute spinach instead)
1/2 Tsp. Turmeric to taste
1/2 Tsp. Ginger to taste
1 Tbs. Chia Seeds
**optional** 1 Scoop Collagen or Protein powder
