.....because..... YES! My experiment worked! Two days ago I recorded & published "Hallelujah" by L. Cohen - totally new for me song without any preparation and raw vocal part, and wanted to see what people say.... I just downloaded lyrics and made piano part working. It took 2h all together. I heard it before but never played or sang!
My research wanted to show that everyone discovers oneself in any art one is experiencing. However, it required a lot of my courage, letting go my ego and perfection but I made it work!
As Roy Ascott said: "Stop thinking about art works as objects, and start thinking about them as triggers for your experiences". Art is something that happens, a process, you discover yourself in any kind of art you experience. What makes a work of art "good" for you is not something that happens "inside it", but something that happens inside you! Whenever you experience any piece of art, look what is "inside you" that triggers your feelings...
