Tobacco Selections: White and Dark Burley

Tobacco Selections: White and Dark Burley Burley has been a C&D staple for years; in fact, many of our most popular mixtures focus on showcasing the nuances of the low-sugar-content leaf. Given all that, you might think we blend with several different grades of Burley. Truth is, we use only two -- one grade of white Burley and one grade of dark Burley -- for everything in our product line calling for the air-cured leaf, including mixtures from G.L. Pease, Two Friends, and Captain Earle's. Tune in as our Head Blender Jeremy Reeves talks a little more about these two grades, explains the differences between them, and offers an inside look into our selection process. Burley lovers, this one's for you.
