The Zoom H5 is an affordable battery powered portable recorder. It comes with a stereo mic and mic/line inputs, but you can also switch the microphone for other attachments if needed. In this video we recorded a bunch of sounds that we sequenced with Ableton Live 10. With a portable field recorder like the Zoom H5 you can turn a railroad train into a kick drum or a smashing Club-Mate bottle into a snare. You can even add cat meows to your tracks!
