Microsoft made waves when it announced that its 15-inch Surface Laptop 3 would include AMD components, rather than Intel. Finally, it was AMD's chance to show it could compete in laptops as well as it could in desktops.
There's a lot at stake for both Microsoft and AMD, but due to some of its performance limitations, this might not be the powerful MacBook Pro alternative we all wanted it to be.
