Why Lamborghini’s First Hybrid Is Bad For The Environment

Why Lamborghini’s First Hybrid Is Bad For The Environment The Lamborghini FKP 37 Sián is the automaker’s first hybrid. Unlike most hybrids, the Sián isn’t eco-friendly. Instead of a battery pack, Lamborghini is the first automaker to incorporate a supercharger to assist with powering the car. While a supercapacitor plays a large part in making the Sián the fastest production Lamborghini ever, it falls short on mileage and overall fuel-efficiency. The incorporation of new technology is impressive, but it doesn’t outperform other hybrids in its class like the Porsche 918 spyder.
