DISCOVERING A DESERTED MILITARY TOWN IN THE OUTBACK

(not quite) Stranded in the Flinders Ranges.. we feast on road kill for the first time ever. Is this the way our Red Centre Roadtrip is going to go? Eating like scavengers?! We later head to Port Augusta to make our first moves North into the wild Australian Outback.

We endure torrential gales in our rooftop tent at Spud's Roadhouse to then stumble across Australia's 'Area 51' - Woomera. We explore this deserted military town used by the British and Aussie Air Forces to test rockets. Yes, that's right.. REAL ROCKETS.
