Indian Soldiers in Kargil - see the faces of those who fought in Kargil in 1999

Indian Soldiers in Kargil - see the faces of those who fought in Kargil in 1999 Indian Army soldiers return home from the Kargil front, carrying their holdalls and suit cases with them, boarding trains from the northern front after the July 1999 skirmish. What a glorious homecoming off the Shalimar Express train. Someone makes a caricature and gets a soldier to sign it for him. Vendors sell eats and drinks to the soldiers. What a spirit of positivity, cheer and bonhomie between passengers and vardi wallahs!

What a lovely moment for India, at the end of the Kargil conflict.
