Re-Strategising marketing tactics amidst competition resulting from AfCFTA - Tony Tony Tony Tony Agenmonmen, President, National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), launched in 2018 and now in its operational phase, is a landmark deal that aims to bring together 54 African countries with a combined population of more than 1 billion people and a combined GDP of over US$3tn. In July, Nigeria signed up to an African Continental Free Trade Area, a project to create a $3.4 trillion economic bloc, despite fears that Nigeria could be flooded with cheap goods from competitive neighbors.
