Zimbabwe's Slow Pace of Reforms | State of the Nation with Zororo Makamba

Zimbabwe's Slow Pace of Reforms | State of the Nation with Zororo Makamba The word of the year, "reforms". Zimbabwe is working towards a prosperous future for all but the reforms in place are taking too long. Zimbabwe is open for business but the "pace is slow". Too slow?

*PLEASE NOTE - AIPPA is being replaced by 3 laws, not two which we had stated in our episode. These are:
Freedom of Information Bill
Zimbabwe Media Commission Bill
Data Protection Bill

Two of the three bills have been gazetted so far - FOI and ZMC. Public hearings on these bills have already been held and they are now working on the reports from the hearings before they take the bills to Parly to be debated. We are still waiting on the Data Protection Bill to be gazetted. In addition there is a Broadcasting Services Amendment bill coming.
