【English Translation】
Hiroshi, who worked for a certain small-sized company in Chiba Prefecture, made angry the president of a very important client company. As a result, the angry president cancelled all the transactions with the company Hiroshi worked for. Hiroshi was afraid of being fired due to his big gaffe. However, he managed to survive because his company went bankrupt before he was dismissed because of his failure. When a company went into bankruptcy, its employees’ salaries and retirement benefits were paid to them on a priority basis (according to the related laws), so Hiroshi was able to get everything without any problems.
千葉(ちば)県(けん)にある零細(れいさい)企業(きぎょう)に勤(つと)める博司(ひろし)は、不用意(ふようい)な発言(はつげん)で、重要(じゅうよう)な取引先(とりひきさき)の社長(しゃちょう)を激怒(げきど)させてしまった。その結果(けっか)、自分(じぶん)が勤(つと)める会社(かいしゃ)は、その取引先(とりひきさき)から取引(とりひき)を停(てい)止(し)されてしまった。博司(ひろし)は、この失態(しったい)のせいで、解雇(かいこ)されるのではないかと怯(おび)えたが、何(なん)とか首(くび)にならずに済(す)んだ。首(くび)になる前(まえ)に、自分(じぶん)の勤(つと)める会社(かいしゃ)がつぶれてしまったのだ。会社(かいしゃ)が倒(とう)産(さん)すると、給料(きゅうりょう)や退職(たいしょく)金(きん)は、優先(ゆうせん)して支払(しはら)われるので、全(すべ)て何(なん)の問題(もんだい)もなく手(て)にすることができた。(200字)
