8 years ago, a 15 years old teenager creates a YouTube channel without a clear vision of what he would like to achieve. He starts to upload short clips of airplanes taking off and landing, sometimes onboard footage - all of these clips have something in common: the quality was horrible. Then he was given a HD camcorder as a christmas present only a few months later, and he found his pleasure to randomly record aircraft at the airport. The footage was very shaky and far from being professional. But for some reason, people seemed to enjoy it, and some of these people are still watching today. The growing positive feedback motivated this young man to continuously improve the quality of his videos. He bought his first tripod, learned how to professionally edit videos, practiced better recording techniques and finally, he invested into a 4K camera. At the same time, he started on chasing special aircraft what suited the "spotter" bit of his profile name even better. The young man is me, Joel, and today, he's uploading videos about airplanes to share his passion and speed joy to the people who are watching. Thank you very much for the past years and hopefully many more to come, this video is dedicated to you all!
