Break-dancing reptile : Indian Chameleon (Chamaeleo zeylanicus) changes colour to send messages

Break-dancing reptile : Indian Chameleon (Chamaeleo zeylanicus) changes colour to send messages Watch an Indian Chameleon (Chamaeleo zeylanicus) walking in slow motion. Or is it doing a sort of improvised dance move, or at least in our eyes? What exactly is it trying to do? Help us interpret this strange reptile behaviour!

These chameleons are known for their ability to change their colours according to their surroundings. This is a form of communication among the chameleons and the colour change also helps them absorb heat when in colder conditions.
