Camping Safety - Be Aware and Prepared!

Camping Safety - Be Aware and Prepared! There's so much bad news lately in general and some of it involves people camping. This has lead to people concluding that camping in general has become very dangerous. My opinion is that it hasn't. First of all, camping has always been dangerous. There's everything out there from grizzlie bears to poison ivy and precautions need to be taken. Other two legged threats are possible and here is where I differ from some; I think that the neighborhoods that we live in have the same threats but are actually at a higher level. I can't find any statistics that say camping is more dangerous. In fact what i see says the opposite.
