In this study we aimed to evaluate the analgesic effects of acupuncture in healthy participants after pain was induced. We compared real acupuncture with control acupuncture. For the passive control, no acupuncture was applied. We observed that real acupuncture as well as control acupuncture reduced the mean pain significantly more than the passive control.
