'Expected Freedom in India': German Student Deported for Taking Part in CAA Protests | The Quint

Jakob Lindenthal, an exchange student from Germany studying in IIT Madras, was made to return to his country by the immigration department for taking part in protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act. He told The Quint how he was told that a student Visa holder ‘cannot participate in protests.’
