How to Precisely Measure Cord for Your Macrame Projects

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to simplify the concept on how to measure cord for your macrame projects.

“How much cord will I need to measure and cut for my project?" is the holy grail question when it comes to macrame.

It's the number one question people have and it's also one I often get asked.

So how do you know the length of the cord you will need to measure and cut?

In this video, I want to share with you my GOLDEN RATIO.

It’s a method I use to measure the amount of cord I will need for ANY macrame project I plan to make as accurately as possible. I have not ran out of cord on my projects since!

The Golden ratio will help you know approximately how much cord you will need to measure and cut so that you have the appropriate amount of cord for your projects.

It's not exactly science when it comes measuring cord.

The types of knots you tie and how you tie them as well as the cord you use will differ from someone else.

The GOLDEN RATIO will allow you to determine how much cord you will need.
