It’s a good time to hire right now, LinkedIn’s Dan Roth said. While companies traditionally hire workers in big cities such as New York, San Francisco and New York, they’re also targeting secondary cities to find new pools of talent, including Austin and Salt Lake City.
However, employment rates are not performing well everywhere. Industries affected by trade and tariffs, such as energy, manufacturing and construction, represent the lower employment rates.
