Brother of violin player Boris Lass and piano player Mark Lass which lived by Japan and got fame of "Japan Columbia Records belonging first-class artist" for about about 10 years from 1929. A performance of a Lass brother was filled in a lyrical expression, and a big impression was made on Japanese in those days. The Lass brother who was from Ukraine in Russia moves to the United States from Japan by returning home of the foreigner staff who was working at Japan Columbia, too. But a Lass brother in the United States doesn't seem to have been blessed with the place where a performance comes into action. One of the popular song which was announced as "remembrance to Japan" just before Mark Lass (1898-1962.10.5) left Japan for this "The sail by which it rains". Loneliness of the Lass brother who leaves Japan, the sadness is a transmitted song.
