Guillermo is a PhD Candidate in the School of Chemistry and a graduate from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), Spain. He has spent some time working in REPSOL, a Spanish petrochemical multinational. In September 2018, he joined the Myers Laboratory as a CÚRAM–SFI-funded PhD student investigating the development of reagents and methods for preparing synthetic collagen- and elastin-type materials for regenerative medicine.
