8 Week Joinery Challenge: This year's Christmas ornament is a resin cast sphere made from remnants of old projects from the last decade. With every project I tend to make some extra pieces or I have cut off some pieces of the project and I have a big collection now of these old project pieces. I had an extra wooden cylinder I had made for the dust bin sawdust sphere project I worked on last summer, which I could use to cast everything in. Once everything was cast, I wood turned the cylinder into a sphere. It was really interesting working with and reminiscing about all of the projects I worked on over the last decade.
