Objectives This is a 7-day programme designed for S4 – S5 secondary school students to explore their potentials and interests in medical and health sciences professions. The programme will enable students to gain an insight into their career prospects and allow them to interact with Faculty members and leading experts. Students will also have chances to intermingle with current students from medical and related disciplines and learn more about university life at HKU.
Course Outline
This programme consists of a wide range of learning activities to enhance students’ understanding of medical, dental and health sciences topics through lectures, interactive workshops, laboratory practical sessions and experiential visits. We aim to demonstrate the diversity of expertise and specialties through a hands-on approach and tertiary learning experience. Students will have a chance to understand global health issues, form discussion groups and solve the respective problems from different perspectives of various healthcare professional roles.
