On December 31, 2019, the Practice Permits of Alberta’s Licensed Practical Nurses will expire. The vast majority have renewed their permits for 2020. For those who haven’t, a reminder that it is an LPN’s professional responsibility to ensure they have a current practice permit which provides the legal ability to practice as an LPN in Alberta and malpractice liability insurance coverage.
