There's been heated debate in the Northern Territory over youth crime with break-ins and street violence leaving victims feeling unsafe.

The young people who feel they've been at the centre of the discussion have been speaking about their experiences, candidly talking about the influence of drugs, peer pressure and a lack of role models to guide them.
