I talk about client success so much because it is the root of everything we do. Our job as dog trainers is of course to train the dog, but more importantly it’s to teach the owners the same exact information in a way they actually understand. We have to set the client up for success, too—and that’s not always just dog training. It’s their overall mindset and relationship they have with their dog. It’s changing the way the dog and owner view each other. Its hours and hours of hands on work with both client and dog, and 90% of it is training the human. We are so focused on client success because THAT is the bottom line of our work. If the owner can’t get the same results as we can with their own dog, then nothing else matters. We want our clients to win.
