One thing I left out of the video was the problem of hearing different sound wrongly e.g. p/b, v/w, i/e, u/w. These problems often depend on your first language, where the different sounds might not exist, or where the letter has a different label! e.g. 'i' in the French alphabet is 'e' in the English alphabet. One way to practise spelling names in a test is to ask a friend to spell out names (e.g. from a list of baby names that you can google) and you have to write down the name and then check back with the list. Or just record yourself spelling out names, and use the recording to test yourself.
