Joan Randolph Galloway was born October 7, 1934 to Paul Melvin Randolph and Yonnie B. Baggett in Lafayette, Louisiana. Joan passed peacefully by natural causes on January 24, 2020, at the age of 85 in Harris County after living in Sugar Land, Texas, with her late husband and son for the past six years.

Joan resided in Beaumont, from 1953 to 2014 with her late husband Jack Galloway. After retiring from Real estate, they moved to Sugar Land, to be near eldest son and family. Joan always remarked “I’m just visiting here; my home is in Beaumont.”

Joan is survived by her sister, Carolyn Benoit; sister-in-law, Bettye Brown; three sons, Glenn Edward Galloway; Gregory Keith Galloway and his wife, Sissi; and Gary Lynn Galloway and his wife, Jennifer; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Joan’s career in Real Estate dates from 1970-2013. She was recognized with many many awards over the years, one being top salesperson many times over. She is respected by colleagues and friends alike in the community she served. Joan’s legacy will live on in the hearts of us all.

A gathering of Mrs. Galloway’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
