Since I did one with The Hotels, I thought I’d do one with The Motels as well. This was one of the more difficult videos to make, but sometimes those ones feel the most rewarding. A shock, outside the concept of the song lyrics, reminds me of electricity first, but I already made one: . So I thought of whatever generated electricity besides Mother Nature. Turns out there are only so many electric plants within the year(s) of the song/album. And it expanded into the industrial area in general. Turns out, I like it and it gives mostly outdoor, but some indoor views as well, of the mid-80’s.
I read that the album was recorded in both ’84 and ’85. So there will be pictures of both years included. Please note that search engines can be inaccurate and images can be mistagged with the wrong year. Images used were in the order of the search results. I don’t like to discriminate; I prefer this “mixed bag” approach.
