She was beaten repeatedly over and over with a belt tied to a tree outside! She pees at the touch of a hand and shakes in fear in the presence on humans. This is where we come in and show her GRACE, LOVE and PATIENCE.
She will not be an easy case. She’ll take work and time, but with that she will come to learn love and trust of humans ❤️. She arrived in Dallas yesterday and is at our contracted rescue boarding and will be assessed by our trainer to put a plan in place.
We named her GIA 💝, of Italian origin meaning "God's gracious gift". FOSTER NEEDED! A patient foster home with space for her to decompress and time to show her humans can be GOOD. They will NOT always HURT!
