A quick glance at his Twitter account, chock full of manic tweets penned from his own fat thumbs and ridiculous retweets from some of the nation’s biggest and most insane conspiracy theorists, is proof enough of that.
Frankly, it really doesn’t bode well for the guy who claimed during his campaign days and continues to claim now to be the smartest man that ever walked the face of the earth. However, as terrible as it is, we’ve all kind of grown accustomed to his bullshit.
It’s not that we don’t care anymore. We always, always care. But for one, you have to do something to preserve your sanity in this freakishly Orwellian day and age. And secondly, when he’s locking brown people in cages by the thousands, signing off on the slaughter of some of our closest allies, and attempting to extort whole entire countries for his own personal, political gain, well, it just makes it kind of difficult to get too terribly up in arms when he tweets some bullshit on the regular.
