She said in a statement that she split with the vast majority of Democrats on the vote because “removal of a sitting President must not be the culmination of a partisan process.” Gabbard’s polling numbers aren’t much hotter than the Atlantic, and 48% of Democratic voters view her unfavorably, according to a YouGov Poll conducted from Dec. 22 to Christmas Eve.
