BoG facilitates training for banks to support SMEs in agriculture | Business Dashboard

Spearheaded by the Ghana Incentive-based Risk System for Agricultural Lending (GIRSAL), with assistance from the National Banking College, the training program seeks to build the capacities of bank staff and financial firms to appropriately appraise agricultural projects that require funding to reduce the issue of non-performing loans.

Also, it aims to equip financial institutions with the practical knowledge and skills needed to increase financial access to agriculture and agribusiness organizations.
