Welcome back, fans! Today we're going through some new tools. First off is editing the walls by its points and adding new segments. The Floor Shape Editor is a second way of changing a building shape you have already placed instead of using the Floor Shape Tool. Next you'll see there is a Select Tool that I switch to from time to time. I first drag and drop the door, which snaps to the walls. The Select Tool is context sensitive. It can box select objects that are allowed to moved around freely. But it can also single select special things like doors and walls that don't move freely so that you can edit or delete them.
I'm also showing the new Scatter Tool which is the smart version of the Object Tool. You can select multiple objects and have it randomly cycle as you place objects. It can also place multiple in a single stroke with a specified spread. The spread is the grid units distance between each object. It will respect the size of the object. The Scatter Tool can also randomize orientation, scale, and color of the object (if it is a colorable object). You can use this tool to quickly place repeated objects like crates and barrels, vegetable gardens, rock piles, etc.
