Has God Given Mankind the Ability to Choose? Does Man Have Freewill? Answers From the Word of God!

Has God Given Mankind the Ability to Choose? Does Man Have Freewill? Answers From the Word of God! Because Calvinists believe that man is born totally depraved and unable to respond in faithful obedience to God, they conclude that God must then have had to choose for mankind. According to the Calvinist, God randomly chose a select few individuals from the foundation of the world to obey and be saved, while everyone else would be lost and never given the opportunity by God. This is where the second basic principle of Calvinism becomes necessary, the doctrine of unconditional election. In this video, we will learn what Scripture teaches about man's ability to choose and show how Scripture teaches that man has a voluntary will (freewill). By understanding this important truth, we can see even more clearly how the doctrine of total hereditary depravity is not a biblical doctrine. Faith is not the gift of God in Ephesians 2:8 like the Calvinists teach, rather salvation is the gift of God in that verse. Romans 6:23 confirms this understanding that eternal life is the gift of God. The gospel is God's call to all men and we must have personal faith in the gospel through obedience in order for us to receive the gift of God, that of salvation from sin that comes through the gift of the Holy Spirit. Please join me in this video as we look at the importance of understanding that man has been given a freewill and how we are personally held accountable for how we respond to the gospel. This video will help us understand why Calvinists believe in the doctrine of Unconditional Election.
