Senator James Paterson says the High Court’s decision to not “exclude” non-Australian Citizens due to them identifying as aboriginal has essentially “created another category of citizenship”. Mr Paterson told Sky News host Andrew Bolt the decision will “have far reaching consequences for public administration and legislation”.
Fellow panelist and Labor Senator Kimberly Kitching said “we have to respect the rule of law and the separation of powers”.
