Hello, My name is Metta Lynn and I have worked in the medical field for most of the past 38 years and have been totally self-sufficient. However, my situation has changed, due to the fact that I was diagnosed in November 2013 with M.S. During all of 2019, I worked as a Home Health Aide after receiving my certification in December of 2018. Unfortunately, I had to cut back to part-time hours, due to the physical and mental demands of the job. Subsequently, I have been unable to pay all of my bills due to my reduced income. Disability benefits take a while and in the meantime, I am getting further behind with my bills.
It is hard for me to function on a daily basis, because my memory is fuzzy, and I suffer from depression for which I am taking medication. In addition, my M.S. symptoms have worsened. The heavy financial burden that I carry everyday is taking a toll on me physically and emotionally. I need IMMEDIATE financial assistance, so that I don't lose my apartment and car.
