[Weather] Sunny skies on Saturday, but air quality deteriorates for most of nation

날씨: 내일 서울 맑지만 전국 대부분 미세먼지 '나쁨'

The cold wave advisories that were in force have been lifted but air pollution levels have worsened. And tomorrow, air quality will reach 'bad' levels in the western parts of the nation. And they will be bad temporarily in the morning in Western Gangwon-do, the Gyeongsang Provinces. But all other areas will have breathable air.
And light rain or snow is expected between dawn tomorrow and into the morning along the west coast. During the second half of the day, Ullung-do and Dok-do Islands will see up to 5 centimeters of snow or rain. And then a light drizzle is expected along the east coast overnight until early Sunday morning.
But it'll be a different story for the capital area, Eastern Gangwon-do Province, the Gyeongsang Provinces and Jeolla-nam-do where dry weather advisories are still in force. So, take the necessary precautions to prevent fire if you're in these areas.
We will wake up to more pleasant conditions tomorrow morning, as Seoul kicks off the day at minus 2 degrees Celsius, Daegu 0, and Jeju 6.
And the highs are also on the up. The mercury peaks at 5 degrees in Seoul, 6 in Chuncheon and 10 in Busan.
With the exception of Jeju island, which will be partly cloudy, the nation will enjoy sunny skies tomorrow.
