Salary requirements for foreign workers in Singapore will be tightened. The move comes amid efforts to assure Singaporeans they are "competing on a level playing field". From May 2020, foreign professionals will have to earn at least S$3,900 a month to qualify for an Employment Pass, up from the current S$3,600.
