The 80|20 Rule | Pareto Principle | Law of vital few (Animated message)

The 80/20 rule says that for many events, roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes. It is an observation; Not a law of nature. Also called the law of vital few and trivial many. Several phenomena tend to exhibit this pattern. It was first noted by Vilfredo Pareto while observing the wealth distribution in Italy.
