Hello Joshua,

That is normal. The one we have here is the same. When the steering is maxed the u joint can chatter a little. There is some tolerance in the parts that allow some movement of the arms and suspension parts. Having a little bit of movement helps a lot with durability and does not hurt performance.

So you are certain this won’t cause issues to things like the differential? That was my main worry with the noise.

What is “chatter” exactly? Is that the axle just moving within the differential cup? Where does the “chatter” come from as in, which two parts are making noise.

I apologize that I don’t know exactly what you’re talking about.
