Hyderabad Metro Rail realized that far flung areas of the twin cities need to be connected up with metro stations by way of Shuttle Service by using small vehicles like winger and mini buses to transport metro users from their homes to metro stations and then from the metro stations to their workplaces – and vice versa. We asked NVS Reddy, Managing Director of Hyderabad Metro rail Limited about how this works. That is how the concept of SVIDA was born. This Shuttle Service start-up runs pick up and drop services from 18 stations of the Blue and Red line and Green Lines of the metro.
