The masked pair threatened the shop attendant with a knife before running off with cash and cigarettes.
Police Statement: Police are appealing for witnesses following an alleged armed robbery in Pyrmont. About 12.50am today (Saturday 9 November 2019) two men entered a supermarket on Murray Street before allegedly threatening the shop attendant with knives and demanding cash. The men left the supermarket - carrying cash and cigarettes in a light pink bag - before getting into a gold, older model car with no registration plates on Bunn Street and heading south down Murray Street. Officers from Sydney City Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene. The first man was last seen wearing a grey, long sleeve top, dark pants, white shoes and gloves. The second man was last seen wearing a dark hooded top, grey pants, grey shoes and gloves. The 25-year-old male shop attendant was uninjured.
